Application Support Engineer

  • Work in the fintech domain across large data driven applications
  • Application support across software products, API's and Database solutions
  • Up to 120K plus super


Working as an Application Support Engineer your focus will be to enhance the customer experience for this software vendor. The products you will be supporting are built in house so you will work closely with technical development teams to triage complex issues as well as taking ownership for more simple tickets. A strong understanding of Software engineering is a prerequisite for this role

To make sparks fly you will have:

  • Proven experience in applications support, ideally with experience supporting Java or Python based applications
  • Ability to participate in an on-call roster
  • Strong support process skills including experience working in structured SLA based environments
  • A background in software engineering with a strong understanding of API's
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and AWS
  • Proven experince in working with external customers as an Application Support Specialist
